Everyone wants to be surrounded with breathtaking views on their wedding day. If you scroll through your Instagram feed regularly, you’d probably think that the only way to have the scenery you’ve always envisioned is to plan a romantic outing away from the bustles of Metro Manila. True enough, the country is filled with dazzling islands and beaches, but it can get quite impractical due to budget and weather conditions.

This does not mean you need to sacrifice your happiness for practicality. If you don’t want to stray too far to find the perfect place, Metro Manila still has a lot of gems to offer. Behind all the smoke and traffic, the city gives home to many architectural treasures, avant-garde event spaces, and even nature-filled parks.
